Bits of Prime

In a city where every face tells a story of survival, yours is officially listed, marked in the "social database" as a loser—a social pariah in a world that never forgets. The city has written you off, your tenement housing is called a planned obsolescence living community, and your only attire is the old uniform from a childhood you barely survived. But as you step out of your crumbling tenement, still clad in the worn uniform of your old, live-in school, a cynical voice calls out. "Kid," they warn, "you look like you've got one day left.” 

This unlikely savior, a disillusioned fixer with a mysterious past and dark connections, offers a perilous path to survival and maybe power: to take on their perilous "audits,” and become embroiled in their heroic mission. Will you shed the uniform of your past and use this chance to carve out your own empire, or will the cost of their help be too great? Everyone knows what everyone knows: Human life is a commodity, and you should never pay too much. Greed is good but power is better. -and the heroes? They all die young.
